Recruitment and Outreach activities of the project:

  • The Outreach activities are done in partnership with Society for Family Health (PSI)
  • The project outreach staff visit schools, churches, and other community organistationa and NGOs
  • The Outreach staff meet with community leaders
  • The project have a talk show on a Local radio station:  Thetha FM
  • The project conducts Community stakeholder workshops i.e. with organisations like loveLife
  • Bophelo Pele Male Circumcision Project works together with local General Practitioners
  • Outreach workers do information sessions in local clinics, especially among STI patients

A community advisory body was formed: 

The Bophelo Pele Male Cricumcision Community Advisory Board consist of Local NGO’s, FBO’s, Political structures, grass roots leaders, scientists, interested parties.  It is chaired by Me. Portia Ntshangase.
